The Great Lakes Shipwreck Museum, operated by the Great Lakes Shipwreck Historical Society, is located at Whitefish Point in Michigan’s Upper Peninsula. It interprets the maritime history of the region—featuring artifacts, stories of wrecks on the Great Lakes and the iconic SS Edmund Fitzgerald bell.
